He was a desperate signing on deadline hour who has cost the club a fortune.
I said it at the time he was a terrible signing and was battered on here for saying it and now those who engaged their mouths before their brains are awol

Blackburn must be striving for a style of pedestrian football ... Whitts and now Lambert. Maybe we can interest them in Halford too?

Just agreeing terms to bring along his Butler.

No offence to Rickie - a class act that maybe has still got a surprise or two in his locker, , but this would be good news for him and us right now.

Blackburn seem to be splashing the cash at present so it could be true. I hope that this happens for both Lambert's sake & ours.

I'd push his Zimmer frame all the way to Blackburn

    Re: Blackburn Rovers

I thought he did ok for us when played. He is old and slow but he was so good at holding the ball up

Class act, but sadly way past his best for us

Holding the ball up, another outdated football concept, its all about moving the ball quickly in the modern game

Signed the midfielder Bradley Dack from Gillingham for 750k. A player I wouldnt have minded us taking a punt on from League 1.

Lets not actually criticize Lambert as it's not his fault he hasn't succeeded. Our poor managers [Slade and Trollope] made him effectively useless. We made him chase down the defenders on his own wearing him out, our wingers and fullbacks never got down the flanks in time for him to push the ball down the wing, our midfield never bust a gut to get behind him so he could flick on and our wingers couldn't beat their men and get a cross into him.

He was always destined to fail when we set up to play the way we did.

Hoping Blackburn do well now after Whits has gone there, good luck Ricky.

Splitting hairs now . Still Slades fault that Lambert doesn't want to run . He would be ok at walking football these days .

He didn't play well under Warnock, who is a good manager though? His legs have completely gone, that's the problem.
