Leeds on TV again and another City fixture change

Sky have announced Forest v Leeds on Aug 26th will be a TV game. That's Leeds' third away game in a row on TV. Why the love in with Leeds and Sky?

As a result Notts County v Accrington Stanley which was also scheduled for the same day will move to the Sunday.

In November County and Forest are set to play at home on the same day again. Because County moved their game on the August weekend, Forest have agreed to move their game on the November weekend. That game is against us.

It's not been officially announced yet but Forest away in November will not be on the Saturday.

Why can't they just play on the Saturday at say 1pm and 5pm? It's not like Notts County get big crowds or anything.

    Not surprised.
Chris has told us many times that Leeds are the biggest team in Europe

County have moved their game on both occasions. Now play Accrington on Friday 25th August and Colchester on Sunday 26th November.

Colchester United will play at Notts County on Saturday 25th November, as originally scheduled.

Following the EFL fixture lists coming out on June 21st, it was agreed to move the Notts County v Colchester United fixture to Sunday 26th November to avoid a clash with Nottingham Forest's home game against Cardiff City on the same Saturday.

Since then, as a result of Nottingham Forest’s game against Leeds on 26th August being selected for live coverage by Sky Sports, Notts County agreed to move their game that day to Sunday 27th August.

The knock-on effect of that means that Nottingham Forest have agreed with the Magpies to move their game against Cardiff City from 25th November so both sides move one game each.

Therefore, the U's will visit Meadow Lane on Saturday 25th November, as first scheduled, with the usual kick-off time of 3pm.

Like it or not their fan base is a lot bigger than ours and many others in the league. They don't deserve special treatment by being selected constantly but if it's what keeps the sky subscriptions up I can see why they do it.
