    Queers and the BBC

LBGTQI etc stuff on BBC features all over the place at the moment.

Will the BBC introduce queer dancing in this years Strictly?
It really is the last place left for queer stuff to finally break through on the Beeb.

A lot of my friends are gay and I'm no homophobe.

But they just dare not have ballroom gay dancing. Hilarious.

He's right though, every time I look at the iPlayer the most prominent titles are like "Gayness and My Gay Life: How I Gayed the Gay" and "Living as a Black Asian Gay in the Gay Asian Black Community"

Perhaps it's user specific. First thing pops up on my bbc iplayer is drugs map of Great Britain.

Well I actually just took a look and there's a lot of stuff on the iPlayer page but here's a couple of genuine titles I spotted:

Should I Marry My Cousin? - Hiba's facing a dilemma

I'm Coming Out - Ross comes out to his parents on camera

It seems like TV production companies value diversity over quality content. Just take a look at some of the thumbnail images on Netflix and so many of the shows have this wonderfully diverse cast that makes you wonder if they started with the cast first and then just built a show around them.

Strictly Come Dancing isn't exactly the straightest of shows...

The BBC and media in general seem to be currently obsessed with Transgender and gender dysphoria.

Slot this into the terrible threads of this forum in the future.

They are trying to faze out the butch lesbians. Back in the day if you were a man trapped in a womans body you just got your hair cut short, wore double denim, drank pints and learned to play pool.

I like to think that I am a liberal-thinking person who thinks that everyone should be treated equally but should our emergency services be used in this way:
