I think it's those who wanted to stay in the EU are the selfish ones, 30 odd years of EU control has created an underclass in the U.K, they voted to leave when given an opportunity, and those with their cushy lifestyles and pensions have cried ever since, this branding of left and right is just a phallacy. I have no idea is the answer, and thought it a rather bizarre question (possibly a trick question) although I have done my best to answer for you.

Incidentally, and whilst tittle tattling about the erics, what I have read is that, whilst GB shut down its coal mining industry, the German coal mining Industry flourished, and is still significantly producing, smokeless Welsh coal was up there with the best in the world, as an elite, did Margaret shut the industry down on a unilateral decision based on wildcat coal miners or was she acting on orders from from Brussels!!, I guess we will never know. Additionally i would not be shocked, that in many years to come that the German Lady is outed as Hitler bloodline, you only need to put a tash on her for a striking resemblance.

It wasn't a trick question. I think that the underclass problem in this country is not necessarily caused by the EU but the long-standing class differences that still pervade our politics, which is not present in other countries such as Germany.
