Why are you having a go at Mr Soul. He doesn't come across to me as a know-it-all. He just likes his music.

As it happens, I didn't like punk (the nearest I ever got to it was the first Motors album) and I'm not so keen on disco - but I do play the riffs and chords that are associated with disco, 'cos it 's feel good music and people tap their tootsies to it.

Surely, like any musical genre, some 'disco' music is likely not worth defending, and some is deserving of some reverence.
IMO, it's not hard to think of examples either way.

I wonder if the majority of those who shout 'disco sucks' (is it 1979 already?!) have a handle on what 'disco' is? Or maybe was?

'Disco' doesn't suck.
