I thought he was comfortably their best player when they played at ours last season. On another day they could have had something out of the game.
Always prepared to try things on, and a few of his flicks and backheels cut straight through our defence.

Was surprised to see he was in and out of the team later in the season.

Rumours were that he had a falling with that shit manager they've got.

Probably for nicking chips off people's plates.

I haven't given an opinion as I don't want to give any credence to what is just a rumour but as you say I've alway liked him. Don't think his ability is in question just wether he's physically and mentally right. Apparently he's worked hard to get fit pre season but you got to keep it up for 9 months not just 3/4 weeks.
We've certainly been missing a skilful player like him for some time.

Recent pics of him on the Brizzle site show that's he's dropped a lot of bulk, as you say keeping it off may be his problem.
