Excellent bunch of fans, great team and all the best for the coming season⚽ pic.twitter.com/tpe97032HK
Is this the best preseason tour ever?
Couldn't think of anywhere more enjoyable for a preseason than Cornwall and Devon
Real Polperro would have sliced us apart , Warlock is cherry picking the worst in Cornwall
Just seen the highlights - great first goal by Damour. Danny Ward is not having any luck in front of goal, but he showed up well with assists for the second and third goals (he combined very well with Joe Bennett for Damour's second one).
Second dodgy penalty given against us in the three days as well.

Loic Damour really looks to have a powerful shot on him. Just before he scored that 25 yard screamer, he had hit another belter, which looked to be on target, but a Bodmin player got his body in front of the ball and blocked it (player collapsed like a pack of cards mind you!) the ball still had enough power to spin up in the air and go over the crossbar.
[QUOTE=Rock_Flock_of_Five;4760559]I know the standard of opposition was lower than we can expect going forward, but I thought Damour looked very good. He started alongside Gunnarson as a deeper holding midfielder, and in the second half was in a more advanced position and did well there too.
I think it took Tomlin a good ten passes before he did anything remotely simple last night.. , reverse passes, back heels, a set of keepie-uppies and a few balls chipped through, before he played a straight forward pass. Looks to be a real talent and was surprisingly quick. You can see why the Bristol fans could become a bit annoyed if he's doing that in the middle of a relegation battle mind.
Kennedy continues to impress.
Damour also seems to be improving game by game, as mentioned above he hit a few good powerful shots from outside the area, which without a couple of block could easily have put him on a hat-trick. Covers a lot of ground and can't remember him giving the ball away too much either. Think he complements Gunnarsson really well.
Also, quick mention to Warnock. Came out of the dugout to give a guy in a wheelchair a jacket with a hood, as it was absolutely pissing down all game and cover was very limited. No fanfare, just gave him the jacket and went back into the dugout.
I wonder how much we would get for him? 5 million?
I'd rather keep him than sell him for 300k.
He scored 20 from 42 games in ligue 2 for Clermont and 14 from 30 games in the juliper league in Belgium.
Ligue 2 is between the championship and league one in standard and the Belgian league is probably similar to the championship.
If he had that scoring record in league one then we would be expecting 5million plus and he has been playing at a higher level than that.
There is no way Strasbourg would pay £5 million mate.
For what it's worth, I'd like to keep him too. As someone has commented above, Zohore, Ward and Tomlin would probably all be ahead of him this season and perhaps Warnock wants to use any funds to bring someone else in.
Maybe Saadi isn't prepared to stay and fight for his place knowing he'll be 4th choice.
We’ve also got Fred who is still injured and i think he may have something to offer too.
In Fred's last season in Belgium he scored 13 in 28. Saadi scored 14 in 29. So, either we're massively overhyping Saadi or Fred is underrated. I think it's probably a bit of both, with a slight swing to the overhyping of Saadi.
I'm sure Saadi said last season that he didn't want to return to Cardiff as well. If Fred scored that tap in against Birmingham, we might have had a different player on our hands. That really was some miss, though!
I'd take the money and run with Saadi though, we bought him for peanuts and good luck to him but he's 3rd choice at best.
That's a real shame about Saadi as I really think he has something about him - though Warnock was critical of the defensive side of his game, so I'll bow to his opinion in this.
Let's hope the rest of our somewhat limited numbers of strikers all come good this season....
