    Halford at right back?

Is he any better than Whitts in that position?

    Time will tell!

3 - 5 - 2 with Bamba, Morrison and Bennett at the back, with Bennett providing the pace?

I just can't take to Halford for some reason but hopefully he'll come good this season

Anyone else trying to watch this on the club's iFollow site?

I saw 10 seconds of grainy action then the picture froze and it's been buffering ever since!

1 - 0 Hoilett. I hope that's not his goal for the season

Whitts is better than Halford at everything. Even tiddlywinks.

Is Halford better than Richards in that position should be the question?

    Just got back.

A scruffy game with glimpse of promise from City. They really warmed up in the second half when they played towards the Canton.

The Manga goal from the corner was excellent; as calm as you like.

Not a bad turnout for a miserable Friday night. Livingstone's faithful did 'em proud too.

I started watching 10 minutes in and watched the whole thing with a great picture. Will be very pleased if the quality is the same for the season. Miss having the score / time somewhere visible but still beats audio only!

Missed 3 of the 4 due to a. Working like Frank Burrows was my boss, b. Having eyesight as incisive as a Cameron Toshack run, c. Having a bladder as leaky as an Alan Durban back 4, but overall learnt little as Livingston were shockingly poor.

Putting that aside Hoillet looked very good, Zohore maybe not £15m and Tomlin was class. Gunner great at winning the ball, but not so good at using it.
Halford tidy at full back and played one superb pass, Ralls and Morrison also a class above their opposition.
Manga looked good at right back

Tough decisions to make next week in several positions.

    Looks like it'll be 4-4-2/4-5-1
Think it'll be Etheridge Bennett Bamba Morrison Manga M-Laing Ralls Gunnar Tomlin Hoillet Zohore

Maybe Peltier for Manga if fit ?

He'll of a big side mind- physically dominated today and I can't see many sides bigger

You think he'll start Manga at right FB against Burton?

Is that because Peltier, Richards and Connolly are all carrying minor knocks (and Patterson weeks off recovery), or because you think Warnock prefers Manga to any of them (except maybe Pelts)?

It would be a brave call - despite the run out in that position last night.

Re: FT: Cardiff 4 - 0 Livingston. Match Thread

I quite enjoyed the run out. Livingstone offered nothing and i hope that Warnock knows what he's doing playing such poor teams in the build up.

I thought Ward was excellent when he came on and his movement was very good.

He should have had a hatrick when their defender saved the ball with his hands behind the line!!!

Tomlin doesn't look quite match fit and shame Damour was carrying a knock as i was looking forward to seeing him.

I still think we look a bit lightweight in the middle of the park and we took too long to impose ourselves on the game.

Bit of both really, especially as Warnock loved to try an off the cuff thing now and again.

I think he could be quality there, he's a real talent, but at centre half he really takes too many risks and lapses in concentration cost goals there. At right back there's a little more freedom and he'd reasonably quick too.

    Worth a try

From what I saw last night
I think he'll go with Peltier at right back if he's fit
    He'll 100% play with Ward not M-Lang
We are relying a hell of a lot on Gunnar and Ralls not to get injured!

See you in a few weeks off on hols and will miss start of season
