Thread: Mobile Internet Browser

    Mobile Internet Browser

Just curious what those of you use out there to get around avoiding the adverts that plague the user experience on this forum.

I've just recently installed Firefox Focus on my Android device and so far it offers the best uninterrupted experience. However not able to utilise bookmarks so have to manually type the forum address. Just wondered if there were any other recommendations.

I'm using Adblock Browser (Free). Seems to be a Chrome/Chromium respin.
    Gets job done.
Personally I found Firefox very clunky on Android.

If you are on an android device (I think apple works too) then get Opera and then download adguard - https://adguard.com/en/welcome.html - don't go through playstore/applestore - download it from the adguard website. It works a treat even if you don't subscribe. If you do like it and want to go pro then do the cheap licence trick - https://forum.raymond.cc/threads/adg...e-trick.40542/ - I messed about with it and got 5 licences for about £5. Here is a vid of it working on the mobile site - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sawjKyId9d4

I use the original Android "Internet" browser, just with JavaScript turned off (Settings > Advanced > Enable JavaScript). Takes away 90% of the ads.

    Chrome browser for everything else.
