Many male players would still be rolling around crying I'm sure. Great role model for all sexes and ages in my opinion.

Didn't she have her baby at halftime?

This highlights the difference in level.
On one hand you have a player willing to play through the pain barrier for her and her teammates whilst the many male players you mention would be instantly thinking pound signs / their career.
(that is not to say that the lady in question was right to play on and the said male wrong not to, the opposite in fact).
The physio treating her needs to look at himself.
She almost certainly could not have put all her weight on the leg.
    Again the difference in level.

Kudos to her after this mind.
She'll probably be made a dame after this

She was putting weight on her leg... watching the game, seemed an innocuous injury initially.

Mirror using general term "fracture" - could be anything from a hairline fracture upwards.

Think you'll find male international players aiming to get into the semi-final of a major competition will want to play on. Hardly like some nations regularly get that far, neither do players have that many attempts.

There is a difference between not making a meal out of a small (perhaps even non-existent) injury and ignoring a real injury. Don't celebrate the brave idiot because the cowardly idiot exists.

The French girl who clattered her at the corner was putting it about for challenges in the air all night.

It would have been a free kick in most male matches for the hit on the English goalie but the ref gave nothing.

Hope she makes a quick recovery.
