I notice Marshall was not playing or even on the bench. Is he injured or just surplus to requirements or both?

    Re: Steve Bruce

It's either him or Gary Monk to lose their jobs first

Thomas Christiansen will be a decent bet.

I think the board will be too. John Terry looked exposed without the quality he's used to in front of him.

Not necessarily, they sold last seasons number 1 to Leicester and had a kid on the bench today

Plenty of time left in transfer window. McGregor is solid at this level, Marshall had a disaster last season - to the point I'd be amazed if they saw him as even a backup.

So is Marshall solid at this level and it's a new managerial team so i doubt they will bear grudges for last season

His confidence is probably absolutely shot playing behind that shower of a defence last season.

Strange one that. What odds would I get on Jakupovic as Leicester No 1, Schmeichal as ManU first choice and De Gea off to Madrid in a Bale exchange deal in the coming weeks

Eh... I think we sold Marshall at the right time tbh. I suspect he's on the decline now.

He was my pick for disappointment of the season.

Not sure about getting the sack but he'll be the first manager in causality with an heart attack judging by his extremely red face and massive guts.
