As in the title, cut (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) have suddenly stopped working.
Anyone know how to fix it?
I't's really frustrating.
Windows10 , various progs affected - excel, chrome, etc.

A few more details might help to narrow the bugger down -
Is it system wide - i.e. does it happen in all programs , like Word and your Browser and your Email and in File Explorer etc etc?
Or just one (or just a couple).
Have you fully restarted the machine?
Does any other users log in to the same machine? - if so are they similarly affected?
You've probably disabled shortcuts.
Can't remember how to re-enable them - probably control panel.
Google will be your friend
I doubt this is your issue but ctr-c is copy, ctrl-x is cut.
Just my laziness, I rarely say "copy and paste" - "cut and paste" is a syllable less.
Thanks for the suggestions, the problem is solved, at least for most people.
Because of my stroke, I only use my right hand on the keyboard.
It appears that the left CTRL key is knackered - the one on right works, but I can't spread my hand to reach the X,C,V keys at the same time as the right-hand CTRL key.
So until I get a new keyboard, I'll have to get used to using right-clicking the mouse!
Ah, that must be frustrating.
The failing key might be caused by something being stuck in the works. I'd therefore suggest picking the keyboard up & tapping it against a hard subject to try work any bits loose. If you're replacing it anyway, you've got little to lose so if a gentle tap doesn't work, give it a good whack! Beware keys going flying - they can be put back on, usually.
Do you work for WoL? If so you are fvcked.
