Is it me or is 'infraction' an odd choice of word?
Too near infarction for my liking....
Incorrectly using a colon instead of a semi colon is enough to get an infraction round here these days. Our message posting future is at the whim of just one man.

Then the Colonel should stay off football threads as he contributes nothing.
If people stayed off football threads due to having nothing to contribute,there would be 5 threads and 3 posters based upon that logic.
Viewing the "contribution" of posters is of course utterly subjective rather than objective so complaining using that as a rationale is a bit silly.
How do you work that out exactly? Plenty of posters contribute their football opinions on football threads, we dont all agree, but at least try and and give an opinion. Colonel doesnt do that, he doesnt mix up the funnys (or unfunnys in his case) and football opinions, hes just constantly looking for attention. He should join mums.net.
Why only today I started an interesting thread about how fancy the Man City dressing room was that seems to have attracted a number of comments and I didn't even become a big nancy boy about the flippant comments either.
So now it's "attention seeking" then?
That narrows it down to a total of 2 threads and 1 poster then...
Mumsnet? Seriously? Have you ever visited there... *shudder*. If there was a dadsnet that acted the same way, feminists would be up in arms.
But back to the attention seeking point. It's a message board. If people didn't want attention to their posts then they'd not be signed up, not be posting.
Colonel has every right, as everyone does, to post what he wants to. Don't value his posts? Just ignore them then. Nothing forces people to go on Holy Grail-esque epic quests to get the infidel banned.

Quite a few people are put off from posting on here purely because nothing is taken even semi-seriously.
Glad to see the Colonel finally getting pulled up on his odd behaviour.
Yeesh, this is heavy stuff. Maybe I should become one of these posters that change their username every time they make a dick of themselves.
