    Possession isn't time on ball, it's how many passes (I think) - which is why Swansea had all those high stats years ago.

    TBF we were playing a more direct approach whereas Villa were attempting to play the ball around a bit more. Towards the end Terry had 4 passes and hadnt taken a step forward. Good stats f**K all effect

    No it does not.

    Although it does give an indication of when we did have possession, we used it to the max.

    Those stats look bad on Villa, and they deserve to!
