Injured plagued at Brentford, did ok and got the gig with Villa.

His fee was inflated not doubt due to being British, personally didn't see much to him. If Kodija had been fit, Hogan would have been on the bench - for the fee Villa paid for him, you'd want him to be a regular starter not a backup.

I read earlier that over the last 2 years we have spent £8m on players whereas Villa have spent £85m.

Not sure if that is true or not but if it is we have got by far the best vale for money.
