Looks like TOM LAWRENCE is DERBY bound ! 7 million

    I'd say that's cheap, in today's market-place

Not really but look what we could have bought him for 18 months ago

To anonymous when he was with us, although
Perhaps not fair to judge him on playing in that team.

It's nice to see that Derby are still sticking to the play fair charade :roll eyes:

They've sold will Hughes and Tom once in this window, so they probably have the money to spend

Don't judge him in a Slade side. I don't think Slade was as bad as he's made out to be (he's certainly miles better than OGS and Trollope). I would like to see him in our team now though.

C'mon Rjk they could hardly sell them twice.

On the back of a superb few months with Ipswich, you would think that Tom has his choice of automatic promotion contending championship clubs and hopefully a few lower premier league sides too. For the first time in a few seasons I don't see Derby falling into those categories and therefore this is a strange move for me.

Lot of money for a fat ancient Liverpool goalie.

Tom Lawrence is not a 7 million pound player - not by a long way.

What I like about what Warnock has done is take average players and made them play very well. He makes sure they all know they have to fight and they all seem to have the right attitude

    5 million plus add ons.

Good business for someone who got 8 goals and 8 assists last season

I don't think anyone has any idea of what is value in the market now!

Reminds me of a scene from the Armando ianucci shows where he discovers that everyone he talks to is being secretly fed information by experts, and when he removes that they don't know anything about football either "a club has just signed someone for a thousand pounds"
