Whenever players are rotated, media always say "rested". God knows why they bother saying that.

It's a long season, players need competitive game time to be match fit, "reserves" need to be match fit to cover for suspensions/injuries especially given we've a small squad.

Equally, different teams provide different challenges. Bamba may well suit games like Villa, Manga better for Sheff Utd.
