I don't want to harp on about Slade but in Warnock's press conference today he hinted that one of the reasons we managed to land Bogle was that his agent used to play for Sheffield United under Warnock.

It amazes me that Slade has spent so long in the game yet seemingly built up so few useful contacts.

The only conclusion i can come to in my head is that Slade doesn't command respect whereas Warnock does.

Dai Hunt commands more respect than Slade.
