I disagree with the article. Nazis/fascists are using a liberal conceit for illiberal means. If what you want to say doesn't allow a response or shuts the floor down for those you seek to persecute, it's not free speech. Free speech protects itself for the benefit of anyone who wants to use it as long as they adhere to its principles. Everything is eventually a communicative construct with rules to abide by; nothing is essentially a free-for-all.
