Watch out. I have just finished a huge course of antibiotics after a spider bite.
People think they are not dangerous. They bloody well are!
Bacterial infection tracking right up my arm. Never been so glad to have antibiotics ever before.
I almost had to miss Wolves away FFS.

I honestly have no idea but it must have been tarantula like.
Could have been an Asian hornet but I never heard a sound and was awake it the dark when the bastard got me.
I jumped out of bed so fast i have no idea where whatever it was went.
No horseflies or dead anythings to be seen so I think it was a spider.

They do bite and it can really hurt.

    False Widow is my guess.
Telltale double bite marks but no certainty.
Also I am in Jersey as far South in Britain as is possible.

    Re: bitten by a spider

I didn't get bitten but I looked a right nob in work this week.

My mate gave me a hand to lift a 55kg Belfast sink on site this week.
As we were carrying it to the room I needed it in, my mate went "nuge, you got a spider on your shoulder ".

This lad is a fecker for pis sing about, I didn't believe him but calmly looked to find this big black spider on my left shoulder.

It's strange how your body reacts to these shocks.
My brain must have computed in a matter of a millisecond, that it best not to drop the Belfast sink, but to shut your eyes, stand still, open your mouth and let out a series of 5 second bitch screams in a tone not befitting a grown man on a building site full of other grown men, until the spider drops off.
Who even now point and laugh at me when passing each other on site.

I dunno what you're laughing at, it sounded like you were tackling a burglar when you saw the spider in the bathroom the other night, all that crashing and yelling.

A MASSIVE one just ran under our tv, I hope I get to see Steve bumping in to it..

Killed the bastard with my trusty 2017 Gig Diary. That'll learn him to come running at me.
