Which is a half volley, is it not? Impact with boot a split second after contact with ground. In the Egg Chasing, it's called a drop kick but that is obviously to get serious height on the ball over a short distance.
So I therefore stand by my conclusion that what us ladies and gentlemen have just witnessed, is a half volley.
But is it only a half volley on the first bounce?
I always thought a half volley if you hit it just as it bounces, just before it rises.
Full volley is without a bounce isn't it?
