Has the international break come at a good time for us?

Will it be a help or a hindrance?

A great time and not many players on international duty either can only think of richards and maybe Zohore any others ?
We have two weeks together before next game at Fulham we will be so ready for that one.

    Good time.
NW to get Manager of the month, then a couple of weeks for the curse to dissipate before we play again.

Unbelievably for Denmark, Cornelius was called up but not Zohore.

Ones playing in a higher league than the other so no real surprise.

Who knows, Cornelius could have pushed on last few seasons

So maybe Malky made a shrewd buy and Tan is an idiot?

Only time will tell, but in my opinion, it's come at the wrong time, simply because we are winning and playing well. Footballers are basic creatures, just like the majority of us. When things are going very well, you want them to continue, When it's going shits up, you want a break, I think it's that simple.

Etheridge has 55 caps for the Philippines

Hinderance imho, at the moment momentum is with us, no injuries, no suspensions, team on fire, break couldn't come at a worse time

I believe breaks come at the right time if we were struggling orvif we had injuries. Personally, I hate the breaks

I've been looking forward to this break since the final whistle in Serbia and I think its come at a decent time for Cardiff as well, we've been running hard in the past few games and its a well-earned break for the squad

I think so too. Things can get stale when things are going right. I think this little break may wetting the appetite of our first team.

I never like to spoil momentum, but we have looked weaker in the last 3 games (albeit a weakened side saw a cup loss) and no doubt our players are tired after an intense month of high-tempo, physical play.

Zohore could do with a rest, he's probably feeling both tired and frustrated, and a few weeks off is a good opportunity to screw everyone's heads back on and make them focus, rather than getting carried away.

Malky did say he was a project

The break has interestingly come exactly when I expected.
I checked the fixtures a while back and saw the break started now.
Sure enough it has just as predicted and expected.
I don't think we had any choice when it came so I expect wondering whether it arrived at a good time for us or not is pointless.
That said I think it has come as expected at a time we expected and we are top of the table so you could argue that if we had any say in when the break came it has come at a good time for us. Not that we had any say in when the expected break would and did arrive.

I think the players will benefit from a rest. Let the transfer window shut and Zohore can stop missing chances on purpose, as not to attract other clubs!

Of course it is possible that they're both idiots.

Fulham had a good away win yesterday also so it might temper their momentum too.

I'd take a point away to Fulham.

I'm in two minds about this, but on balance I think the break may be a good thing? What are the odds on teams winning the first 6 games of the season? Maybe Neil can convince the lads that the counter has been reset to zero
