Does City's performances this season give them an extra edge...

...in the manager's negotiations for this central midfielder?

What I mean is....instead of acquiring a loan for a young wannabe from a top club, they can attract an established Prem performer who is currently surplus to requirements eg Charlie Adam or Ben Watson that WOL are banging on about?

We do need some back up in midfield however not a big name we need to not disrupt the dressing room with an ego ,or overpaid underperforming ,player looking for a last pay day .

I hope its not Charlie Adam
but you can sorta see the kind of player Warnock likes to have in the midfield the next 2 or 3 days premier league clubs are going to want to offload some players to get some in and us likewise
why do I have a feeling that on transfer dead line day they unveil Joe Ledley on a 2 year deal
in a big fanfare and media attention much like when CB came
    you seen it hear first
