Great result. As usual we seem to have a tough group.

Classy finish. He's looking like a real prospect. What's the score with him though? He played a whole tournament for England this summer didn't he.

Something tells me Brooks is left footed . On the face of it, being picked out as the best player in the England squad which won the Toulon tournament this summer would seem to seal Brooks' allegiance to that country, but the fact that he was willing to play for Wales again after doing that must make Robert Page and co at the FAW optimistic that he'll end up choosing us. He's started two League Cup games for Sheffield United this season and been used as a sub three times in the Championship, so I'd be tempted to try and force the issue if I were Wales by selecting him in the senior squad for the games next month.
