You are incorrect. Allen missed the Georgia game which is our worst performance in this group. He was missed then and missed in the first half last night.

If Allen started with Edwards, we'd have been fine. Ramsey would have played ahead of them, preoccupying Baumgartlinger and the other two would have better contained Alaba and co.

I know he wanted to get everyone on the pitch but we have to play our best players in their best positions, and Ramsey has to play 10 or higher.

King hasn't been given enough credit imo. I thought he changed the game. But had Allen been fit he would've done that job first half, and he's better. So we did miss him..we won despite missing Allen. Might've been more comfortable with him..

Dave Edwards put in one hell of a shift yesterday, very overlooked by many fans. In a few months when we have more trouble everyone will huff and puff at the thought of Edwards coming in but for the last 7 or 8 games he has had to play, he has done well.
