His 501st was absolutely stunning.
He is total class
Staggering to think that way back in 2005 he replaced the injured Simon Jones for the fifth and final Test of that wonderful series against Aus. Jones has of course long since retired.
Anderson was regarded as erratic back then but developed into an outstanding high class pace bowler. Today's achievement is right up there and there will be a massive void when he retires.
Collingwood replaced Jones in the 5th Test. Resulting in the piss taking of Collingwoods MBE by the convicts. Anderson was in the squad but not selected.
