Don't give up yet, TBG will be along soon to tell us how people tended to believe in the God their parents believed in.

I love pies, and in 1980 I joined a monastery because I was told that I could lead a very pious lifestyle. What a load of bollocks. I've spent almost 37 years with no trousers and socks praising God and shit and pulling on a bastard rope to ring a fecking bell. If that wasn't arseache enough, they wake me up at 4 in the morning to chant and tend a fecking beehive. As for pies, there hasn't been a sniff of one since the day I joined. All we eat is fecking porridge.

The Supreme Court goes with religious liberty, do you think it was the right choice? I do, even though I'm not religious.

they had a choice to ask another baker possibly numerous
    market forces and all that
I think the baker is an idiot religion has a habit of doing that to people
he is not thinking about his livelihood
surely its up to him who he wants to do work for or not

I do think religion and state should be kept separate though

If there is a god, none of the religions have got it right so far. That's my opinion..

Out of interest, what if he believed in apartheid - still at liberty to refuse to serve certain customers based on his prejudices?

I can't decide between Odin, Quetzalcoatl and Ganesh.

None of them are real but they're more fun than the Abrahamist lot that inspire most delusional nutters these days.

For those who believe, he can do no wrong. Survivors of drought, famine, disease, disaster, all thank him for sparing them, what a job he's got. I don't know what else he can do to prove he doesn't exist.
