    Ibrahim Meite

Meite started well on his loan spell. Hopefully he can coax Loramski out of retirement.

Must have been a different player who turned out for us in the second half against Taff's Well

Bit harsh, that was a run around at Taffs Well for everyone , not tactics as such , he /we could see by the signings he was a development or a loan player .

I would suggest a loan move represents a thought from the club he has something to offer so lets see it , as we did with Healey .

Thanks for that. Here are brief highlights of the game. Only 3 clips. The first and last are Meite, both impressive.

Quite often loan strikers take a while to get up to speed, due to a lack of match fitness or confidence I guess, but Meite not only lasted the ninety minutes on his first league start but was still getting in good positions late on. He had a couple of chances to win it in injury time. It sounds very encouraging for now, maybe we've got a new Velikonja on our hands. Fingers crossed.

Matty Kennedy also scored last night, in Portsmouth's loss at Northampton. His goal comes at around 1.01 here (from O'Keefe's cross).

Like I said last week, there's not much to go on for now. Ben Wilson has been dropped already, Declan John didn't make the squad for Rangers last weekend and you kind of know what you're going to get from O'Keefe. Meite and Kennedy should be worth keeping an eye on though, a good start for both of them.
