I guess this thread shows how far we have come

A Bomb is detonated on a london train ( yes it failed to detonate properly, yes it was a rather crude device, but that shouldnt matter )

It has all become rather " normal " now

Seemed to be a pretty common occurrence back in the 70's and 80's tbf

Not sure we made jokes / lighthearted comments about it as it was happening though, we were slightly more shocked

Agreed, my point is that for most of my life the uk seems to have been pretty much under terrorist attack, so while the impact of the attacks remains shocking, the occurrence of them has become almost a normal hazard of daily life.

That tube station is the one before Putney Bridge (Fulham) so less than a week ago many Bluebirds and Fulham fans were going through that station! Scary.

I think people in general were much more stoic about these incidents back in
the days when the IRA were bombing the shyte out of London etc.

Social Media ( Social Hysteria ) and 24 hour news channels hype even small incidents
like today out of all proportion to what actually happened.

Yes we have had some very nasty incidents this year but this was at the bottom end of the scale.

It was only a small fire. Everyone relax. Nothing happened. Just the press really.

This time it was a flash fire, next time with a little more skills we could have had a massive loss of life

Not really sure why people are playing this down so much

I know this can and does happen, but why are you so sure that picture is fakery and that she is an actress in this instance?

if it is faked, what does the actress tell all of her family, friends and Social Media contacts? - 'hey now - shut up all of you lot and and just play along'?
That will work out well ..

I can understand why Wales-Bales posted the insinuation prior to your post - he's got form for blanket stating that pretty much everything on MSM is a lie (aside from Fox, The Daily Maul and Breitbart).

While I can fully accept that it might be the case that this is an example of fakery, is there any real indication that this incident involved actors?

Is it just as dangerous to write off almost every major incident as 'fake'?

its because as you say they do and have done this before
the pic even looks faked as if they are posed
and shouldn't the old bill be the other side of the "victim" because of her injury
nice photo op don't you think a pretty young girl
and even the old bills uniform looks far too small for her

so yeah I guess I don't think the pic is genuine brother

And you may have guessed correctly. Or not.

As you said above, "always question everything".
That cuts both ways. Or rather, it should.
