In the end a decent point and with Leeds, Derby and Sheffield United all losing it appears we have a wide open League again. Preston maybe the surprise team this season.

Or maybe we weren't ( 16-8 shots, 8-2 on target) and our excellent centre halfs copes easily with their strike force apart from 2-3 moments

Considering how late in the game it was our player (NML?) that ran in to cross the ball was BLOODY QUICK

we reacted superbly to Westwood's save. Tomlin delivered a decent free kick that the keeper did well to push away from goal but we were on it like lightning (it was NML) and scored a fully deserved goal.

Yes your right on the stats, because they had sooo much possession it made look silly at times ,and we were poor in the first half , too deep, chasing shadows, giving the so muchcuh room , and Ken up front looked lost,Neil should have made more changes and subbed earlier .

First half they had a massive amount of possession, but did next to bugger all with it.
Even their goal was just down to shite defending.

They bored the ass off me and as soon as Warnock told our lot to push up 10-15 yards they folded and were just backs to the wall defending.

Second half was an one sided as the Villa game, we just lacked a bit of luck in front of goal

That tippy-tappy passing it back and forth across the half-way line was a bit tedious.

They did enjoy a back-heel as well.

well they didn't bore me as such but they did pass it all over the shop when one hoof might have done now and again.
