Not sure what the fuss is all about regarding attendances in modern day football. It is what it is.
When I first started going down the City we were shit and the crowds reflected it.
We have now improved, and are playing regularly at a higher level and the crowds have improved.
We have never had massive crowds since the 50s/60s. Nowadays we have football saturation, and lots of "part time" City fans will only go when all factors suit them. Just like all other clubs outside the "elite".
