Exactly, way too much emphasis on goals in the modern game.

Nottingham Forest , now there is a team that know how to kick the stuffing out of a ball. Absolutely no end result , just pass pass pass all day long.

My point exactly James. I’m sure the Grimsby fans will, as we speak, be excitedly discussing on the long bus journey home, their pass completion statistics.

Very economical with the passing for the first goal, great work by Etheridge.

It's a goal, better than 20 one twos then back to the keeper.

Great pass by Etheridge right on to the head of Zohore, who had the strength and ability to beat the Sunderland defender to the ball and the perception to see the run being made by NML. NML then himself had the perception to see the run being made in to the box by Bryson and the skill to make a very difficult overhead pass right to the feet of Bryson, who then showed excellent skills in drilling the ball past the Sunderland keeper in to the corner of the net.

Excellent goal all around. Glad to see you appreciated it.

They made out that zohore had lost his touch. The highlights suggest overwise

He's not hitting the net but his support play and presence in the forward line is part of our success,
were still joint top on points , half way through our toughest set of fixtures . Two tough home games left before we can look at whats ahead and perhaps some easier fixtures.

In fairness you'd expect your striker to be involved in the highlights.

Watching the whole game he seemed off the pace and was beaten to the ball most of the time.

Hopefully he'll come good again soon enough and he can play a level above this
