It amazes me, the amount of alcohol consumed by people. I listen to them in work talking about drinking bottles of wine every night and basically getting bladdered on the weekend.

As someone who drinks infrequently, I notice that when I do have just one or two drinks, it takes me a week to get over it.

I think the challenge should be six months without alcohol. It’s clearly no good for you.

I was shocked to realise I was drinking more alcohol than recommended in the Department of Health guidelines. I decided I ought to do something about it, so I quickly drew up my own set of guidelines and I am now well within the recommended level of intake.
