Next question - If Ledley played on Saturday, would that be the first time he'd have played against his home town club?

He played against us for Palace and went down injured in front of the Ninian Stand. He was given masses of abuse as it really looked like top class time wasting.

He also scored in that match.

Do you have sight of the loan agreement, or is that an assumption based on other loans?
You are probably correct but you post it as a proven fact.

Rules were changed a few years ago, nothing to do with an individual loan agreement.

A player on loan can't play against his parent club.

So 2 businesses making a deal cannot write their own contracts? It must be the only business in the world where a third party forces one on them. Crazy.

Why on earth would Derby let their own player turn out against them? You make it sound as if us and Derby could have a meeting before Saturday's match and draw up a contract saying that the offside rule won't apply in it.
