    Presumably he went to watch them, enjoyed it, kept going and got the bug again. I don't blame him for turning his back on City, the rebrand years were horrible and I hated it.

    He always struck me as more interested in trying to make a career for himself out of the rebrand, rather than taking the sort of principled stand others did.
