Also, I don't know if you read me saying that you can tell from his first touch whether Hoilett is "at it" or not, but it is something I've said from time to time on my blog.

I wasn't aware "get go" was a habit of mine I'll cut that out.

Reminds me of a time in my first year of university where I described a through ball as 'delicious'. Needless to say my lecturer called me in and wondered what exactly was going through my mind.

My only query is that it opens with a statement that you bet City to win 4-0. Yet having won 3-1, you say City surpassed your expectations and pre match confidence. I can't quite square those two bookend statements.

Yeah, it's probably not the best wording in the world.

The 4-0 bet was more of a hopeful one despite the fact I was confident of a win. I didn't expect us to play THAT well!
