Thread: Derby got exactly what they came for...

Derby got exactly what they came for...

Didn't come to play, fill up the midfield, they settled for a point before kick-off.

It's these teams without ambition that we need to find a way of opening up.

How many headed balls in the middle of the park were there today? Some kind of record, methinks.

Midfield battle for most of it but In fairness they committed players forward in the last 10 mins and looked like they were going for the win. But for an outstanding reflex save by Etheridge near the end they would have got it.

Decent competitive but not an exciting game and City didn't really get firing. Onwards.

We’re still top, although barcahamton wanders are close behind

pretty much agree with cowbridge they came to park the bus to frustrate us which worked . all we offered was to pump it long . on reflection a point was a fair result and that save from our keeper was top class at the end to save us a point .

    still top of the league

Rowett always has his teams well organised, he did this superbly at Brum and also Derby have 2 quality centre halfs.

Their right back Wilson ? was also very strong and Hoillet struggled against him.

I thought Huddleston was very poor though, off the pace and lucky not to get booked early on. Looked overweight.

They seem to have a few players there who are over the hill
