Georgia v Wales - No Bale

Full bill of health after this weekends games as far as I'm aware. Only Richards definitely out. Bale on form for Real, Rambo playing well, Ledley getting games. Three quality youngsters on the bench. Only worries are the players one booking from a suspension. Otherwise looking good for Friday.

Bale possibly out after missing Real's game yesterday.

Have you noticed that our Gareth always seems to suffer injuries just before the international break before miraculously recovering and playing a full parts in Wales games.
He's not injured, he just loves playing for Wales. What a lad!

Bradshaw has been called up to replace him according to the BBC, who are also saying that he is likely to miss the play offs, were we to make it. Think they changed the length of the injury in the article so the story has been updated during the day.

I'm still half hoping that this is all to scam the Irish preparations and that Gareth will play the second game, but that's just blind optimism.

Was impressed with Ledley against us. Not just a streetwise perfomance showing he's sharp, he looked match fit too. Showed He's ready to start if need be.

Sounds a bit touristy. Spent yesterday hitchhiking around Armenia instead.

We drew in Serbia without him , so we can win these two games without him, but the odds have to be against us now - think I'd be looking at Woodburn or Brooks before Lawrence.

I am quite glad at this fact, the irish are celebrating bale being out on their forum + social media.

The underdog tag is good at times

I'm glad we've got those three to choose from. But I'd give lawrence another bash I think, with woodburn coming on again. I've only seen Brooks v wednesday

Lawrence and Kanu on the wings with vokes upfront maybe.

Woodburn and Brooks are both impact players, for me. As well as Woodburn has done, he has done it as a "super" sub and I'm not too confident about putting so much on young shoulders.

Saying that, Bale has hardly been in his usual form for Wales of late, and I still believe Wales can qualify without him. Wales struggled to get a draw at home to Georgia with him in the side.

Tom Lawrence, though, offers little in terms of an end product, and so I would vote for Woodburn to start in Georgia with Brooks to replace him if he is struggling, or if he isn't struggling and Wales are winning comfortably. It may actually help Woodburn if Coleman just says "you are starting both games, the pressure is off".

I agree about telling who ever is starting early., as soon as Coleman and Osian have decided take them aside for a quiet word, build them up.

Has to be Woodburn for me. Personally I would give Brooks a go before Lawrence.
