Thread: Wireless headphones

    Wireless headphones

Looking to get some wireless headphones for iPod touch.

Have no idea what to get, what to look for or how they actually work.

Easier to ask on here than figure it all out so can anyone recommend a decent set?

Not worried about price (unless they cost hundreds in which case I won't bother) but I need the ones that go in your ears as opposed to the big ones worn by footballers. Don't want cheap shit - need some quality ones with good sound.

    Cheers people.

They work on bluetooth. I use one by "Bluedio" which have proved to be great but it has a stupid flashing light on it that makes it look like a UFO. You can skip tunes on Spotify (if you have for a smartphone).

Don't think you need, or even should look for brand names. Just look for ones that have good spec for you budget. The best headphones seem to be smaller brands. Avoid "Beats". Total rip off.

EDIT: Sorry to contradict you Croesy, but I would avoid Apple for headphones. Very poor value for money.

Also, go for over ear headphones, way way better for sound.

Dead easy to pair via Bluetooth, decent sound, comfortable to wear. I guess there will be beer ones out there, but pound for pound, I’m happy with them.

There's no need to splash out on these things, I have a pair of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magnetic-S...-/332185985003 and they're excellent.

I have a pair of Bose wireless earphones. Cost around £80 , sound quality is excellent, pair with my i phone or i pad no problem . Highly recommended.

I have a pair of Bose aswell, mainly for flights, infact they live in the suitcase and are only really used for holidays
they are great quality and the sound is top notch, they appear to block out background noise ( which i have always struggled with on airplanes, The old style Beats really struggle with background noise )
