How does the seeding work ?
4 highest FIFA ranked teams.
Seeding is based upon current world rankings. If we win tomorrow night we will be seeded meaning we should avoid the likes of Italy. Ideally we would draw Northern Ireland or could end up playing Slovakia.

What happens next?
The eight best group runners-up enter a draw for the four play-offs held in Zurich on 17 October, starting at 14:00CET. Teams will be seeded according to the FIFA rankings published the previous day, with the highest-ranked quartet in Pot 1 and the remaining sides in Pot 2.
The teams then play on a home-and-away basis, with the order of the legs decided by the draw. The first meetings take place between 9 and 11 November, with the second legs played over the following three days. The winner of each tie enters the draw for the World Cup on 1 December.

I think they reckoned it'd be 4 weeks for a calf strain. It was mentioned that it'd be touch and go for any potential play off match.A link to what you read

If that was accurate and he is anywhere near fit, I suspect both he and Wales will make sure he is on the pitch.
On qualification for the play-offs, it looks as if a draw will not be enough. If Crotia manage to get 3 points away at Ukraine we are ****ed with a draw......if this is anything to go by.>>
