There is most definitely that although I was hoping we'd personally be able to serve up some long awaited qualifying Karma here (should we make the Play Offs) but football goes in cycles and we sure as hell will get our chance to right those Scotland wrongs some other time.

I'd rather wait until after the Irish game, we have enough quality to beat them without GB, but, everyone loves the Irish!!!, lets hope the ref keeps it impartial, we've been here before a number of times and been tucked up.

I agree that he has done well with what he had to work with but to claim that the reason they did not qualify is because they are not tall enough is complete nonsense. More to do with a lack of quality than any other reason.

I hope he keeps his job too. I have no idea whether he has been a good manager/coach or not given the resources Scotland have (not paid enough attention to the Scottish national team in recent years) but when he is in the mood he is the most entertaining manager in the history of the game. There was a thread on here about 10 years ago by PontBlue that listed about 40 Strachan one-liners and I had it pinned on my wall at work. Whenever anyone was on a downer I used to read out a few and laugh out loud. Changed the mood 100%. A sample from a few years ago:

Enjoyable to see the Scots fail again, but I may regret saying that if Wales are in the play-offs. Scotland over two legs would have been a breeze.

Same here. Putting aside them dry buttf*cking us a couple of times during Qualifying, they're ok in my book
