I don't know what's more mental - blaming genetics or going on to suggest that it could be "looked at"
So Scotland and Spain are proof of this theory?
There is most definitely that although I was hoping we'd personally be able to serve up some long awaited qualifying Karma here (should we make the Play Offs) but football goes in cycles and we sure as hell will get our chance to right those Scotland wrongs some other time.
I hope Strachan keeps his job . Done a half decent job with limited resources.
I hope he keeps his job too. I have no idea whether he has been a good manager/coach or not given the resources Scotland have (not paid enough attention to the Scottish national team in recent years) but when he is in the mood he is the most entertaining manager in the history of the game. There was a thread on here about 10 years ago by PontBlue that listed about 40 Strachan one-liners and I had it pinned on my wall at work. Whenever anyone was on a downer I used to read out a few and laugh out loud. Changed the mood 100%. A sample from a few years ago:

30. On Wayne Rooney: "It's an incredible rise to stardom. At 17 you're more likely to get a call from Michael Jackson than Sven Goran Eriksson."
9. Gary Lineker: "So Gordon, if you were English, what formation would you play?"
Strachan: "If I was English I'd top myself."
3. Reporter: "So, Gordon, in what areas do you think Middlesbrough were better than you today?"
Strachan: "What areas? Mainly that big green one out there…"
1. Reporter: "Gordon, can we have a quick word please?"
Strachan: "Velocity."

Taking history out of it, I’d like to see the Scots do well
