Wales goals in qualification

Excluding the games against Moldova, these have been our goals.

Austria - Allen thunderbolt, long throw we got a bit of luck from, Woodburn thunderbolt.

Serbia - iffy penalty (given some of the manhandling at corners we've seen), defensive mistake/pressure from HRK and shot from Bale

Georgia - corner, Lawrence thunderbolt.

Against the top 5 teams in the group we've scored 7 goals in 8 games. 3 were spectacular strikes from distance, another came from outside the box, one was a dodgy penalty and the other two were set pieces.

It's maybe telling that, for all our build up play,l we haven't scored a goal inside the penalty area from open play in any of our group games bar those against the bottom team. We've relied on moments of individual brilliance to carry us this far, which is probably unsurprising given our lack of attacking options.

A little bit of a shakeup needed possibly.

Maybe swap Hennessey for the Preston keeper who's having a good season.

Look for a replacement for the ageing Williams.

Start giving the 3 youngsters (Woodburn, Brooks and Ampadtu) game time and phase them in gradually.

See if there are any good strikers with a Welsh Nan.
