Would Bale have made a difference tonight?

I don't think he would have. He'd have been manhandled out of it.

With the succession of corners we had id like to think he would have made one count.

He would have taken a better free-kick too. We can never know if Bale would have made a difference, but I can't see that Wales would have played any poorer with him in the side than without.

Of course he would. Manhandled? Bale?

More than capable of handling himself physically.

What I will say is it puts to bed the nonsense being spouted last summer about Ramsey being more important to the team than Bale!!!!

Bale is irreplaceable. Maybe Wales best ever player. Behind Messi and Ronaldo in the next group of World Class players and some think he wont be missed when we have to make do with players who are Championship standard.

Or more experienced at knowing what to do against that physicality. We missed that tonight.

Well he would have ran straight through Harry Feckin Arter for a start rather than flying through the air like an Olympic diver.

That free kick towards the end was crying out for Bale, Ramsey hit it 20 yards over the ****ing bar.

We would have had a greater threat from corners and free-kicks, more creativity and the best finisher on the pitch. He's a massive player but we showed in Georgia that we can get a result without him, even if not against the biggest of sides.

One of those miracles would have been for Joe Hart to appear in the Ireland goal for the free kick.

Randolph didn't really have a save to make, didn't even test him properly in 90 minutes.

Just the one from HRK. The header he tipped over the bar.
