Obviously the best news of the night. What a way to announce yourself. Won't be long before he's pushing for a first team start.

The full back positions - particularly right side - have been the biggest area of concern for me in an otherwise terrific first quarter of the season.

If all the hype about Paterson - apparently not unfounded with today's outing albeit in a junior encounter - will be just reward to the player and to Warnock / CCFC for having faith when no-one else did. May initially create a problem for the manager as Paterson's strength going forward will have to be accounted for - but it will be another 'welcome' problem for Warnock to accommodate.
