    Ooops wrong link ::

    The chairman of the Labour Party was accused last night of a conflict of interest that could breach parliamentary rules over his alleged ownership of prizewinning greyhounds.

    Ian Lavery, 54, faces claims that he failed to reveal he had two, named Blue Artisan and Tudor Prince, when he became chairman of the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) on greyhounds.

    Ashington football club rescue turns into northern nightmare for Jeremy Corbyn

    As he cut the ribbon for a new grandstand at the football club he chairs, Ian Lavery, the Labour Party chairman, must have been confident that his name would go down in history.

    Ashington, founded in 1883, is one of the smallest but most celebrated clubs, where colliers first cheered on the Tyneside legend “Wor” Jackie Milburn.

    In a growing nightmare for Jeremy Corbyn’s party in its northern heartlands, however, police have been called in to examine whether there was criminal activity at the development company Arch, owned and funded by the council when Labour was in power, which PROVIDED THE NEW STAND IN 2015
