Saw the thread developing last night. Fair play there’s some tidy people on here for offering help and advice.
Strange and needy thing to do from that Minion guy. Hope he’s embarrassed by what he did.
There is no shame in erring on the side of caution and having treated the post as possibly genuine - and it's good to know that there are other posters who are ready to help if anyone else has a problem.
I only hope that they won’t let this incident deter them from pitching in to help any genuine cases.
Not been on here long, and been a flick through reader of random threads over some time but not regularly checked the board even on a weekly basis..so wasn't aware who this fella was or his previous for it.

You’re right, it did seem a little bit off which is why some people posted in the way they did.
However if there’s even a small chance that something like that was authentic then it explains why others posted offers of help and advice. The fact that it looks like it was bullshit has shown the best and worst of Internet forums. The op is obviously lacking in something.
