What sort of sad act feels the need to complain because some bloke reading the news isn’t wearing a poppy?

This is the first year I think people have stopped getting so worked up about it. Articles are being released defending james mclean's right to decide

last year it was ridiculous with the FIFA fines and boycotting pubs. I expect it to be quieter this year. We learned from last year I think!.

If people read the history behind the wearing of poppies (and versions thereof) they may take a more balanced view on the subject.
