Draw delayed. Technical problem with Twitter. That Wurzel twat has probably blown Twitter bragging about himself every minute.

Is this all a marketing ploy?

Every round there has been a cock up, but it means the name Carabao is mention more and more.

Early draw Charlton drawn out twice, then they had the idea to place Newport in the northern section, then a 4am in the morning draw, todays supposed to be live on Twitter but delayed and now showing on delayed feed. Draw being made by Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson, WTF have they got to do with football.

The actual draw being shown now online is like a monty python sketch

you`ll have to wait for the draw. seeing as Johnson thinks you`re already a premier league team you should have no problem beating the mancs.

The EFL would like to apologise for a number of third party technical issues that affected coverage of today’s previously advertised Carabao Cup Round Five live draw at Twitter HQ.

The EFL has received an apology from Twitter UK for the delay which is believed to have occurred as a result of a faulty encoder.

The EFL has requested a full explanation into the events that led to this afternoon’s unacceptable delay.

Twitter has also apologised to supporters via their UK Twitter account.

A Twitter spokesman said: "We're sorry for the issues that led to the delay of today's Round Five draw. We would also like to apologise to the thousands of supporters who had been patiently awaiting news of who their team would be playing.”

The draw had been scheduled to go live at 4pm UK time but in the end the draw was pre-recorded and published to @Carabao_Cup Twitter channel at 5.45pm.

The ties drawn are as follows and will be played week commencing 18th December.

Well, well, well. So all that delay because of "technical difficulties" to just to fix the draw so the big clubs get the small fry.

A simple hot balls / cold balls pulled out of the bucket would have been far simpler and swifter course of action. Why try to fix something that isnt broke

Man city or man united for the league therefore arsenal or Chelsea most likely to take this trophy seriously? Or does man city's squad just blast away all? Wurzels probably have the best chance of an upset.
