Manafort to turn himself in to Mueller, source says

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is turning himself in Monday to Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.

Manafort was indicted under seal on Friday and is planning to turn himself in, the source said.
The indictment is expected to be unsealed later Monday. The extent of the charges was not immediately known.

Sounds a bit like Dr Who regenerating to me.

Washington (CNN) Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump campaign official Rick Gates surrendered Monday to Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller.

Gates, 45, is a longtime business associate of Manafort, 68, having worked together since the mid-2000s, and served as his deputy on the campaign. The two were indicted under seal on Friday, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said.

The indictment against the two men contains 12 counts: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

The charges do not cover any activities related to the campaign, though it's possible Mueller could add additional charges.

Isnt this all to do with stuff before he ever worked for Trump ?

So someone who used to work for someone else and got paid overseas and then went to work for Trump means that Trump is guilty of something ?

Im no Trump fan - but that seems to be pushing it some what.

From what I read the other day re the Trump 'sex scandal' was completely made up by the democrats based on some 'paid for' evidence by an alleged british agent. Seems like any political battle - it comes down to 2 whippets fighting in a sack.

It's 'House Of Cards' on steroids! There are plenty more twists and turns still to come, and some reputations are going to be seriously damaged.

Oh yeah, a Grand Jury can convict on probable cause, not beyond reasonable doubt.

Here is my prediction - it will all come to nothing , other than the couple they have charged with tax evasion etc,

It wont get anywhere near Clinton, Obama or Trump - as they wont allow it to.

Definately if Mueller has his way, but there are 3 or 4 other enquiries underway on Capital Hill where the investigators have a little more enthusiasm towards uncovering the truth.

Warnock definitely has links with the communist republic of North Barnsley and could well be implicated in all this, using the same logic - Malky will be to as both him and Warnock have managed the city.

Not sure how much cred you give to anonymous, but they are suggesting that Podesta is next followed by Abedin.
