Whittingham was most probably the most consistent Championship midfielder for about 8 seasons. Played regular, scored regular, doubt there's another to match him, some may have for the odd season but he did it year in, year out.

We don’t half miss his quality from dead ball situations. Our quality of delivery from free kicks and in particular from corners is not very good. Another reason Tomlin should be starting.
